If you were tracking the progress of the SJSU Society of Automotive Engineers International (SAEI) Formula Race Team, you knew that they competed in Fontana, CA, June 17-20.

The college is proud to share the news that the team won the Rookie of the Year Award and took 12th place overall out of 81 registered teams! Randy Floresca, SJSU SAEI president, said that as a first-year team they surprised everyone at the competition.
