CMPE Department Microsoft (MSDNAA) Software Registration and Installation Procedure

If you need to install Microsoft software on your own PC for your course work, please follow the MSDNAA licensing procedure below:

Currently, only XP Pro, VS.NET, Visio, Project, SQL Server, and MSDN Library are available.

Staring Procedure: (For CMPE Students)

  1.  Go to SCE Club room (Engr 325)

  2.  Bring a print-out of your schedule to prove you are a CMPE student OR taking CMPE courses

  3.  Sign your email and name on a list

  4.  Within a week you will receive a user name and password to log onto the ELMS website.

  5.  On the ELMS website, you select the software you need, and a license key (if needed) will be generated automatically

Getting Media:

   For XP Pro, Visual Studio.NET, MSDN Library:

You may burn your own CDs at Engr 325, ask the SCE Officers, they will assist you.

   For Visio, Project, SQL Server:

         You can only check out the software for installation, you may not burn your own copies of these software.  Checkout also at Engr 325 with SCE Officers.
